Inferno: Fire guts Phnom Penh factory

A large fire devastated a factory in Phnom Penh yesterday.
The blaze broke out at 3:20 pm on June 4, 2022 at a plastic bag recycling factory in Street 371. Russey Village, Group 17, Sangkat Steung Meanchey II, Khan Meanchey, Phnom Penh.
13 fire trucks attended the blaze, which was extinguished within an hour
Investigators say that the fire appeared to have been caused by faulty electrical wiring
A warehouse measuring 25 meters x 30 meters was damaged with an estimated 70% of used bag stock destroyed.
