Fire on third floor of Olympia City

No deaths or injuries occurred when a fire broke out this morning on the third floor of the Olympia City building.
The incident happened on Street 217 at the Olympia City building in the capital’s Prampi Makara district in Veal Vong commune at 8.50am.
Phnom Penh Fire Department director Colonel Prom Yorn said that the fire started on the third floor of the building. Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze before it could spread.
He said that the fire destroyed some furniture, computers and documents but did not spread to the neighbouring units.
Police used 15 fire trucks to extinguish the fire which was under control fire by 10.30am.
